Why sailors are prone to accidents on shore

Its all those Flags we find that we just have to stop and observe to determine the wind direction and speed. In fact, we patrol the horizon of buildings with our keen eyes just to spot a flag so we are aware of what sailing conditions might be. Doesn't matter if its in Nebraska, or Columbus, we look at every flag we can see and translate that to sailing conditions. Sure would be cool if this great expanse of corn field were a body of water and I were in a laser.
A flag is not just a flag to people like us. Every flag, no matter where it is, even in a scene on the TV screen, is a doorway to our zone. That zone that makes us calculate and challenges us to tempt it.
CSA Pre Season Breakfast

I always found something comforting about eating good scrambled eggs. Scrambled eggs are to a good start of the day as is a grilled cheese for lunch and meatloaf served on a blue plate for dinner.
The wind blew in Jeff Tanchak at about 10 minutes after 10. So, the egg remained in my stomach where it belonged rather than on my face. Jeff learnt us a lot about the local weather and the many resources available for the public to get data...lots and lots of data. He electrified the room and to our suprise a camera man was there too. Made a 10 second spot on the local news.
Of course, when all eslse fails, and you need to know the weather, Windows are the best option.
