The Cleveland Sailing Association (CSA), was developed to increase interest in sailboat racing in the Greater Cleveland Area. We do so by scoring our sponsor clubs' regattas in series format. This gives you, the racing skipper, a chance to travel to other clubs and sail in many races while enjoying the hospitality and camaraderie of different venues and fleets, with an eye to rewarding your sailing skills over an extended period of time.

Boat of the Year Championship Series (BOTY)
Competing for the CSA Boat of the Year demonstrates your committment to serious sail racing. Winning the honor elevates you and your program to an elite group of accomplished sailors that we are all proud of. Hardtack earned Boat of the Year in 2010 with impressive wins throughout the season. Only one boat can win the Boat of the Year, but just competing for the honor helps make the CSA Boat of the Year one of the most sought after honors on Lake Erie.

Womens and Double-Handed Series
These series were a great success in 2010 and we look forward to an even better turn out in 2011. Spinnaker and JAM are available for both. If you can't participate in the complete series you can enter for single events.

South Shore Cruising Series
Six marquis races are included in the South Shore Cruising series, of which you can score any 3.

The Cleveland Cup
The first Cleveland Sailing Association invitational race, The Cleveland Cup, is scheduled to be contested at Edgewater Yacht Club on Saturday, September 17, 2011.

The Cleveland Cup is separate from any established CSA series. The race is open to CSA registered yachts that have competed in any 3 CSA designated events. The invitational is a single race for PHRF, JAM and one design classes.
